The Urban Green Belt

This master planning project reclaims abandoned industrial zones to create a vibrant public green belt. The aim was to stitch together disconnected neighborhoods through a network of pedestrian pathways, cycling tracks, and native planting schemes.

We utilized sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) to manage stormwater while creating natural ponds that attract local biodiversity. The design creates a seamless transition between the hard concrete of the city and the softness of nature.
